Cranberry Almond Overnight Oats

As seen on Fox 5 DC, these cranberry almond overnight oats are the perfect way to use up leftover cranberry sauce from Thanksgiving! The best part? They’re customizable to be dairy free and vegan, and can also use your jam of choice if you don’t have cranberry sauce or are craving a different fruit.

Ingredients

  1. 1 & 1/2 cups old fashioned oats

  2. 1 cup milk of choice

  3. 1 cup yogurt of choice

  4. 1/4 cup maple syrup

  5. 1/4 teaspoon almond extract

  6. 3 teaspoons chia seeds

  7. 3/4 cup cranberry sauce

  8. Dried cranberries for garnish

Prep time: 10 minutes

Fridge time: 8 hours to overnight

Total time: 8 hours or up to one day

Servings: 4

Steps

  1. Combine oats, milk, yogurt, maple syrup, almond extract, chia seeds & cinnamon in a bowl. Mix until combined.

  2. In four cups, mason jars or small Tupperware containers, layer overnight oats & leftover cranberry sauce. Cover & let sit in the fridge overnight or for at least 8 hours.

  3. Once ready to serve, top with dried cranberries if desired. Overnight oats will last in the fridge for up to 5 days.
